SUMMER RING! 2020

This summer we will host two summer rings. More information about each session is below. Because of space, registration is limited to 10 people for Session 1 and 20 people for Session 2. We request that you register your attendance below to hold a place. Hope to see you this summer.

Summer Ring - Session 1

Learn to Ring
(For the person with minimal or no bell experience)

Have you ever wanted to have the chance to pick up a handbell and ring. This summer Houston Bronze will host a “Learn to Ring” Summer Ring. This is in response to requests we have received throughout the year from people who want a chance to learn to ring but have not yet found a place to give it a try. This session is for people who have little or no experience ringing bells. Attendees need a basic knowledge of reading music.You will have the opportunity to play our thimble sized bells or the big 2’s and everything in between. We will also try to put you in touch with a place close to you so you can continue to ring.

Do you suffer from the dreaded “Ringing Withdrawal” during the summer months? Have you ever wanted to play some of those thimble sized bells or the big 2’s? Now is your chance! If you are looking for the opportunity to play different positions, work on new techniques, and meet other people who share your passion for all things bells, then you will want to join us for Summer Ring Session 2!
In Session 2 we will read music appropriate for use throughout the year. This sessions is for the more experienced ringers.
